The 225.

With the help from Pife I got the tank off the stand and into the laundry room Sunday. Gotta do some patching and painting to the stand/wall as well as getting the rest of the tile layed and grouted. Im hoping this weekend I'll be able to get the new tank on the stand.

Finally got all the tile layed yesterday. Gonna grout on saturday. Seems like its took forever but Im happy with the way it turned out for sure.

Im super excited about getting the new tank up. Especially after seeing how clear the glass of the new 55 holding tank is. Makes me realize just how bad the glass was on the old 225 . Im also pumped about setting up the calcium reactor along with the apex. Gonna try to get some automatic water changes going.

I put tile like that down in my laundry room and did not grout. I think it looks more like a real wood floor. Your room is looking real good!

Thanks!

Yea we went with 1/8" spacers and black grout. we coulda went with 1/16" but would have had to use sandless grout and its a PITA to work with.

So heres the finished product. We painted the wall "Sea Isle" Blue behind the tank. Im still going to toss some tint on the back of the tank so you won't see much of that wall but Im doing an in wall 58g for the mantis in the wall to the right of the main tank and painting that the same color.
