I will be receiving shortly a 1.3" frag of this amazing incrusting Montipora.
I dare to say it looks much better than rainbow danae, or superman danae montis.

It also seems to be extremely hard to find, if you look over the search engine you will find only one dealer. Does anyone have one?, can you post your pictures?.

Actually I am getting it from a dealer here in Mexico, but its probable that he got it from Atlantis.

I got a frag from Ming at Atlantis...Make sure to light acclimate it because it will bleach on you if you put it too high too fast. I eventually put mine up high after acclimation, it loves high light and medium flow, the colors get bright green fluorescent and the polyps turn purple/blue...more blue under 20k...mine is under 14.5k Gman...one of my favorite pieces...let me just add that it is a lot more green than these photo show

There are actually quite a few of these around... They just got a really bright colony...I had a piece that browned on my, I am working on coloring it up and it did not come from atlantis...I would also like to see what this looks like in other people tanks...

Just saw this at a frag swap today. Very nice! But basically a flat version of my German blue polyp green acro :)

Very Very similar. The ridges are more pronounced on the Palawenesis. I have the Verucossa, so I would know.

I've been trying to find it and so far only Atlantis carries it, and they have been sold out now for a couple of months.

My frag is about 1" x 2" x 1". I've only had it for a month or two. A friend bought some live rock from a local tearing down his tank, and he found this frag in/on the rock. He didn't feel like he had enough lighting, so he passed a piece of the frag to me. It's located about 5" from the water line. It's underneath two 175W MH.

What is the growth rate on this coral?, compared to what other coral.

Do you think I need to light acclimate it?.

I got T5s on individual reflectors, I got a crocea on the sand and it hasn't lost its colors after 6 months, and keeps growing fast.
