I took the plunge and went with an sp4 on the 24vs2 and it runs great no issues at all.

I run mine at full blast.Do you throttle it back with a valve at all or do you run it full blast?
I've got a -48 with the upgraded venturi on a 350G (total) system running external and it works great. I oversized for the future addition of a frag system.Hello reefers!
I am going to be setting up a 350 gallon reef setup with probably 100 gallons of sump/refugium/frag tank.
I am leaning towards a Lifereef skimmer. Do you think the SVS3-36 will be enough? It is rated up to 600 gallons.
I am leaning towards an external skimmer possibly. Does the external perform as well or better than the in sump version?

So the 36 is to small. I won't be upgrading in the future. 350 gallons is plenty

Sounds good.
I am at least 2-3 years away but I want to start planning now because it is a big build
You should incorporate one of his sumps into your plans. I love mine

Yeah they look awesome. How much do they run for just a basic sump? I was leaning towards a 75 gallon tank that I would put together myself
Sump it self (no reactors or skimmer) for a tank that size I would guess would push a 1k. With all the goodies thrown in and shipping your looking at at least $2500.
