Whats the difference between True and False Perc?

A false perc is really an Ocellaris clown.

Heres my mutant perc:

I call her a mutant because shes missing her right pelvic fin and her right gill cover has a small curl.

Took a couple new pics to try to show it better.
From the left she looks normal, and pretty sharp I think.

From the right her head is slightly off center and the gill curl and missing fin show.

Shes still a pretty nice looking clown and I have no intention of trying to breed her.

- well i never quite got an answer on why there are color variations, but im guessing its just genetics, so you live in the city?
