Back to the color question, I have had light orange and dark orange clowns and even had them fade and darken. It seams to be to some extent dependant on the light they are under. Almost like they are getting a tan as they get darker. My clowns under Metal Halides get darker. The ones under lower wattage and less UV get lighter. And yes, diet and genetics play a part as well.

I have had these two for about 10 years now. I was just a teenager when I bought them for $72! They have been through a lot; life in a 10 gallon tank, a move to college, two apartment moves, and finally a move to my 120 reef that they have been in for about 3 years. They lay eggs all the time but I have never done anything with them.
