Count me in I have 54 corner project making everything from scratch so it will be a while until it's up and running.

If I'm the only one asking for our own section, it's not going to happen.
This thread gets buried in the Reef Discussion section now, only way to find it is to subscribe to it. If we had our own section, it would be a lot easier to find and also get a lot more attention since people would see it.

myram are you just running one fixture with 120 degree? Looks nice and bright for sure. I was thinking about also retrofitting my tank with 2x24 t5ho bulbs. Probably with a Coral+ and a Purple+. Also what size fixture are you running?

Yeah, 1 - 16" wide unit with 120 optics. In those pictures, the lights are at about 60% blues and 40% whites.

I don't think you'll need the t5 at all.

I'm running my unit at like 50/30 right now..........and it's supporting everything in my tank just fine, including a maxima clam.

How high are you going to mount the light off the surface? That will tell you if the 90 optics are going to be too focused. But they pop right off, so you could have 120 in minutes.

I went with the reefradiance lumentek pro180 http://reefradiance.com/lumentek-pro-180.html. It said that it would be shipped in 2-4 weeks. Seems like a long time to wait but I will wait with great patience :bounce1:...

I picked up 1 MP10 yesterday...........should have bought 2.

The 1 alone is working too hard at 100% and is too loud. With 2 I would run them at 50-60%, and have less noise too.

Get a tunze wavebox, no noise and does not need the tank to be 3 inch from the wall....

Anyone have diy mounting bracket ideas to hang leds with no canopy. I am trying to avoid hanging it from the ceiling.
