THE Tank Build By Aqua Digital

SB works. I know quite few people with good success, inluding me.
So you will be ok in a about 5 weeks. Just follow dosing instractions

Please post here your results, I am very interested in this and how it reacts with ULNS bacterias particularly.

I am also starting to get foot eyetus (a term coming from my boating days meaning you always want bigger) I keep looking at the tank and then looking at our 1,500sqft basement then looking at the tank, then.......... wifes initial remarks are

you just got a pool
you have to finish basement
we need to afford something called food!
And when exactly did you plant the green back tree?

Taking this right now as she is on my side, I was always good at reading women and getting it soooooooo..........

I am doing my own tests on another product for Cyano, I will post results also in two weeks, not mentioning product for now as not sure of its effectiveness.

So here are some pictures a chipmonk took a minute a go ;)

can anyone recommend an epoxy that actually cures in 5 minutes and not 5 days? :(

I half destroyed my aquascaping and nearly killed two frags trying to get them to stick using a blue boxed popular brand!

Yes i do, I have changed my whole regime.

Things have become dominent ProdiBio digest and Ptim I am also adding the strontium and iodine.

hm.. you dosing extra iodine and strontium? Balling inlcude this elements in trace b ,no?

The best aminos i have tried was Elos, a bit pricey though

So a profiLux equipment update.

With the launch of the Vortech module and my need for some bottom flow I have decided to add 2 x MP10W ES to the lower 25% of the tank pointing directly at the back of the cave.

This will be set to low flow during the day and for 15 minutes a night will be set to profilux surge mode to blast the system of debri. I will follow up on how effective this is in detritus removal and increased flow in a small system.

The balling from previous discussions seems to be using different levels of strontium etc. if you look at the instructions it states about reducing the amount of power trace elements being dosed when doing the balling method. If the make up of the elements were the same there would no need at all to dose both.

Unfortunately there is very little written about this subject as to what is right or wrong and I think we are left to make our own assessments and based on this I actually am not convinced the addition of trace elements in balling is overly succesful "for my tank" due to size, my reason for this is becuse as in my case I dose 3ml of calcium a day, and the calcium has the majority of trace elements in it, so how can I be sure the tank is getting enough of this element.

As stated above this feeling or idea right or wrong is strictly dependant on how much of the balling elements you are consuming of course, take into account this is a small tank and not easy to balance

Personally I would rather have my own control over the 3 main important traces that being strontium heavy metal and iodine. I do think if you have high consumption of calcium and DKH then yes the elements in the balling are vital.

My future plan is to rely on Prodibio for 90% of everything and fine tune the colours with other products which i am currently testing.

Thanks for the FTS it just puts the tank into perception. Looks really nice. I can't take pictures ot save my life either, so don't feel bad.

I just used Oceans Wonders Epoxy the other day, and it cures REAL fast. Got it from BRS. Anyway, I really liked it.

My local HD stopped selling Aquamend, and I wasn;t a fan of it. The ugly white color, and it took a while to cure.

Nineball and Chingchai both use epo putty. From what I understand it is not availible in north America but they had nothing but good things to say about it. And since you are an distributer maybee you could get hands in some. I know that I am interested in the stuff given the caliber of reefers using it.

Prodibio - Yes, I have not found an easier ULNS I see absolute no reason for any ULNS that requires a reactor.

Other elements - due to the changes - Way too early to determine. I will give an update in 4 weeks.
