the stand is very over built. the 4x4 are not needed but they do give peace at mind. you are always watching family guy. the tank has evolved a great deal.

does your fiji yellow leather ever go through extended periods where the polyps are retracted and it looks so smooth? Mine has had not polyp extension for 2 weeks now.

When ever I go into a store to look at purchacing a fish, the first thing I look at is how their tanks look. I also check to see if they are all linked or if they are separate.

Great thread! Love the video's!! I wish more people could post them throughout the forum. They really give an overall picture of what's going on in a reef system. I think a lot of info can be observed which pictures can't express. Keep them coming!!!

Working on the plumbing. What a pain this has been with the tight space.

How big is your overflow box? Your plumbing is 1" and 3/4"
I am trying to decided on the size for mine and want it as small as possible but you mentioned hard to work with.
