They also make in HVAC units and permenant HVAC filters which are the opposite charge as thier ion generators which is cool because it really gets some dust to stick. I really like them and I guess if I weren't in my profession I'd probably go sell them. You did it with a puppy dog trick. You let anyone try them for a few days then pick the unit up if they didn't want to buy it. Then after odors etc. began to return in a couple days they'd call you back to buy it. Has like a 9 out of 10 selling rate but getting the in-house tryout's was the hard part.

Could anyone who has a milwaukee ORP controller post in there? I'm trying to decide whether I want one for my Sander, or shoudl I get something else.

mike, i'm using distilled white vinegar to clean the probe for the last 30min and its reading 455.

can any other red sea aquazone plus users test and chime in?

dont have a red sea but when i soak my probe it reads 451
i do it for 15 minutes & its a milwaukee orp

I use the Milwuakee and also had a pinpoint... both were pretty much par. I use the Milwuakee and sold the pinpoint.

I soaked mine in iso alcohol which is recommend by Milwaukee. It read exactly 299 for me. The only difference between that and vinegar is it took alot longer for it to read the correct ORP after I placed it back in my tank.

went ahead and bumped ORP this morning. Does it take some time to notice the super clear water or once it gets high you can tell?

I noticed mine when I came home. I was like holy crap. From 15 feet away I could see clear through the tank. I put mine on last night and this morning it was reading 385 where I set it at. I don't know if the 50 mg/h raised it that fast or if the alcohol didn't truly clean the probe. I'll stick it in vinegar if it is still at that range or higher to check.

At first you will think something is different. Then all of a sudden, you will realize you can see in the back of your tank like if there was no glass. Also looking down the side to me was almost crystal clear. You might want to clean your probe as it might be running high like mine. Your ORP could just be around 350. I notice my tank difference about 3 days in at 360ish. So it might take a few days.

Ya, mine does that. Drops about 10 to 15 during the day also. Feedings are another, water change etc.

Where I can purchase Sander? which model I should get? Which air pump you guys prefer? I have a 180 gal tank and planning to get ACIII to control ORP.

Mine appears (haven't sat and checked every 10 minutes to run most of the day and it stays at around 394 and I have it set to 400. At night, it doesn't run much at all and stays around 411

My ORP is staying near 400 and around 390 at night. When I clean the probe and stick it back in the water it drops to 350 then climbs back to 400 in an hour or so. What does that mean my ORP is at?

You guys should read the thread that Randy put together in the chemistry forum. ORP tends to drop as the PH increases and increase as PH decreases, this would expain the increase when the lights go off. I have been tracking mine for over a month and you see the trend in ORP to track PH changes.

If you clean it and it goes back to 400 in an hour, your orp is 400. That's what it should do.
