I really like the adjustable air pump because I can dial the air back so it gets sucked in . I can if I want close the hole of and turn my airpump up and it will supply my skimmer with enough air for it to have 100% saturated o3 but I don't . I only close the top hole and turn up the air pump to see if I have any blockage inside my ozone unit . If so I clean it .

Do you mean the T valve that you want to close the top hole to check your Ozone.

Once again, thank for the helpful information.

air from the pump travels through the airdrier , then to the in of the ozone and then the out goes to the skimmer. You you can use the aqua controller II to control it if you have the probe and you program it to turn it off at a set level. I do :)

I just bought a brand new ACII so it comes with a ORP probe. How do you hook it up to the ACII?

Use a X10 or dc4/8. Program the ACII "If ORP > xxx, then shut ozn off"
etc.

Question:

If I use a reactor chamber or a seaclone skimmer, how much flow do I need to have the ozone be effective?

If using a controllable airpump, do you set it at the lowest setting or middle or depends on your orp?

Will the exiting water from the chamber/skimmer weaken the other plastic components of a sump, other plastic parts, etc?

im currently using the redsea berlin skimmer n will be getting RedSea AquaZone Plus Ozonizer.do any1 here using the same setup as mine show few pic how u guys put the carbon??cause i see that the skimmer have lots of holes at the "cup cover" & 2 vent lines at the skimmer discharge for the O2 O3 to escape...

I just looked at my ACII, its preprogram into it. So Vamps, you don't have to do anything besides plug, play, and watch.

What do you mean plugand play?
So I just plug the Red Sea Aquazone to the x10 or DC4/8 then control On/Off on the ACII.

Do you know how to use an Aquacontroller?

Yes in my situation my air pump can deliver enuff air to supply my er 8-2 with enough air to operate.

Since I have a corna discharge unit . I block the fresh air inlet and crank my air pump to max .

If my skimmer cup fills up with water I know I have a blockage In my line to the skimmer or my unit is blocked. Usally in my case its the unit that get clogged . So since mine can be taken apart to be cleaned I do so .

As for seting it up with your aquacontroller . I would erase the whole aqua controller program including name and x10 codes and start from scratch and program each function with their x10 or dc8 location.

This way you have a clean code which wont have things programmed you don't use.

There are alot of preprogramed settings in the acII which IMO are there for a general representation of what can be done.

I would erase and delete, but its set at what I wanted :) hehe. So what kind of pump are you using? How much air does a skimmer usually take ? Would a 1000cc/min 1 pressure pump work for an ASM g4?

Ok I just got my Enaly ozone generator and ORP controller hooked up........at first the probe was reading 80 something....It crept up slowly after about 15 min to 121 I then started to run the generator.....I have it set now at 138......I know that I need to get the ORP up to 380 or so.......but how quickly can I do it....what's a safe rise in ORP per day ??

Ok ....I got my Enaly 200mg Ozone generator and ORP controller today and set it up......the ORP probe was reading 80 or so and slowly crept up to the 120's after about 15 min, I then started the ozone generator and set the controller for 135.........how much can I safely bring my tank up every day until I reach 380

When the ozone is hooked into the skimmer with a T what if the power/pump goes out to the skimmer and the ozone stays on? Won't the ozone escape into the room and is that harmful?

It takes a week or so for the ORP probe to break in, so keep an eye on it for it to stablize (probably in the 250-300 range) and then you can set your controller for 380.

If the power goes out, the generator will go off too so no worries there. If the skimmer pump goes off, you will likely have a buildup of ozone in the controller which could make its way out into the room. I admit, it is something I do not worry about
