tigerpyge on DD

Did one of you lucky Americans on RC get the tigerpyge that was on DD tonight? It was gone pretty quickly. While we occasionally get hybrid centropyge here in Canada, I have never seen the tigerpyge. Very jelly. If you are on RC, please post lots of pics when it arrives.
 
Well, no sooner did I write this post that I found out an LFS in Toronto got two Tigerpyge in tonight.... Hoping to see them in the flesh :):dance:
 
I love the Tigerpyge, just don't like the price tag :)
It does seem like more of these Lemonpeel X Eibli hybrids are being offered on a more regular basis. An LFS had one recently that was similar to the LADD specimen, but the orange stripes were not as prominant, and the the body was a darker yellow than orange. Good looking fish though.

those are some of the hybrids I was talkin about last week ;)

oh and at a fraction of price of DD. ... wish my business has DD kinda profits lol

Im still gonna wait for the orange lemon peels though.

Do you know if he is bringing in orange peels, those would be a great colour addition to my tank

I still feel like I am missing 1-2 more fish, maybe I will wait and try to get one of the orange peels instead of these hybrids

you mean after I pick up mine right ? :P hahaha Im kidding.

well a couple months ago they popped up from around Aussie ... it was my first time seeing orange lemon peels, and I am trying to research if they in fact would keep the orange color, and the blue dot ... I think the blue dot might fade ... but still ... if it keeps the orange its a winner. I have asked Ken every time I see him and also others, but seems like the guy shipping them is on-off ... kinda like the guy in Vanuatu. Im gonna keep asking till it happens though :)

the tiger ones ... the marking is permanent and wont fade... but they are no longer considered that rare ...[still not common] but Ive seen them alot lately.

orange ones cost a bit more ...

Yes if he brings in 1, I wont try to steal him from you, you were kind enough to let me grab the first Bandit, so you can have first dibs at the orange peel. Once you have found out the results on the colour fading on the orange peels, please let me know. If they are going to fade back to a yellow colour, I dont have much interest in them.

I am going to go see the tigerpyge today and maybe if the colour pops enough I will just pick him up. Will let you guys know and I will be sure to post pictures if I do get him.
 
Just went to SUM, the fish look great but they are both on hold for someone. He is going to let me know tomorrow if the person changes their mind.

Allmost-he said no chance of orange peels anytime soon, only lemon peels.
 
Tigerpyge is my holy grail fish. I'm surprised this one is still on DD. It is a good looking hybrid. One day when I've got my dream system I'll set aside a tax return for one :)
 
Just called and the guy never picked up the fish, he asked me to wait one more day. It's looking like I might have one tomorrow

Do you happen to know if SUM will ship? Their website has very little information.

The website is not really up to date. I think he does ship but when I call him tomorrow to see if the fish is mine, I will ask him about shipping. He gets a lot of great fish at great prices
