Took a few new pics

gcarroll,
Are the tunzes the only wavemovement you have in your tank? And what do you have them pointing too?

I also dose Warner Marine magnesium, strontium and potassium when needed. I also use the Warner Marine Ultimate Aminos, and soak dry food in their Huffa.

I guess you test for strontium an potassium? Do you notice a difference in the corals when levels get low?

Very nice Greg!!

yeah is is a awesome light but it is hard to spend that kind ove money knowing it isn't going to reduce my electric bill.

Yea but it would look very SEXY Lol!

Wow, all of a sudden I started getting a flood of PM's about the tank and I wondered why. I see this thread was back up top.

For water movement I have:
1- Tunze 6080 Stream
1- Tunze wavebox
2- Tunze 6201 Streams
Main return pump is a Waterway Iron Might but it is dialed back to approx 1200 gph.

Jose, It will save me on electricity. Right now I run 5- 250 watt bulbs. The Spectra has only 3 + 4 - t5s. Although I have not decided if I will run 250 watt of 400 watt bulbs (I have bulbs and ballasts for both), I will adjust the photo period appropriately. The Spectra was ordered at MACNA and is on the way! I just filled out the customs forms today. I should receive it in a week or two.

I have been doing a lot to save energy. I will be getting a new return pump from ATB that is similar to the Red Dragon and replacing the AquaC EV1000 with a Warner Marine skimmer (soon to be replaced by my ATB Large).

Greg, nice to meet you at MACNA. I was the guy with Eric (glassbox-design). The frags looked beautiful at MACNA, and the pics of the full colonies look even better. It goes without saying, but nicely done!

WOW!

I met you at MACNA. The seasons greetings monti.......is that the pic in this thread? Also, that ultimate stag is awesome! I hope mine looks like that one day. I got both of these from U at MACNA. The photos here make me glad I got them from you. Your tank is SWEET!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys. Some day I hope that dream will come true. I hope the changes to come will put the tank over the top. We shall see.
