I just love those before and after pictures. Amazing color, you must have a very nice environment for the corals. I am totally jealous.

It's good to see that someone else does growth shots around here Ed. All of your corals are looking great. Can't wait to get my frags from you. -Jim

Thanks all,

Even nicer in person

Thank you Wayne & also westreef, sahin & Jim for all your kind words.

I've been kinda neglecting this a bit so I'm going to post a bunch of new pics just for some eye candy fun and also some updates.

Some of my newer Malu shots...............Three's a crowd?

No shots of all three together because the female chases the male out during the day, but at night they're all together. The crab has been in there for about 9 months.

These two pics are over the last few days. I cut the tub the Malu is in way down in the front, so now I can take some nice straight on shots that look more natural & the tub isn't such an eye sore in the tank as the nem has spread out and covered it.

You'll appreciate this Wayne. I know the Red dragon is a good grower, but not too shabby for 7 weeks of growth. It hasn't grown much taller, but branching out nicely. It's on the tank floor and looks like it lost a little of the red. i'll move it a bit higher soon. How are those Battle frags doing Wayne?

I'm getting more interested in favias because they are easy care for handle a lot flow and are colorful even at the bottom of the tank. They fit in good in an acro dominated tank. I'm going to add one or two more eventually.

Very very nice! Love seeing photos in this thread because the corals are so colourful. :D

Favias are very nice, but they have long sweeper tentacles. In a big tank with space its ok, but in smaller tanks favias can sting the crap out of other corals.

I cant get over the red pigmentation in your millepora's. My colours in my tank are slowly getting better. But red colour is almost absent, even though I have a red millie and another red milli with blue tips. Both are rust brown colour.

Beautiful as always Ed, everything is still looking great. Im loving the millis I picked up from you they are doing awesome.

Favites have long sweepers, most favias we collect do not. Very nice Ed! I was also drawn to favias rather than meaty lps or chalices.

Thanks everyone!

Favias--

I've never seen any sweepers on my colony, but any info anyone can provide on them I'd appreciate. Mias Pot of Gold is one I'm considering.

Cherry corals had a lot of nice ones, but most were out of my range price wise. The Welcome to Pardise was a great deal when we were there, so it was a comprimise in not getting the highest end favias.

Hi Big E.

Awesome color on your corals as always.
I have few questions if you don't mind.
How many fishes do you have and how much do you feed them per day?
You mentioned that we should use Snail and hermit crabs to control algae, how many of them do you have now?

How do you control the algae the grow near your corals frags?
I have algae that grow near the corals frag and they keep on irritating and suffocating the sps and they just don't do so well.

Thanks,
Bao
