Trying to settle a debate on anemone ID

This is not my anemone, but I would like to hopefully settle a small debate once and for all from a regional forum.
BTA or sebae?

I'm not sure the poll is the best idea, but it would be nice to hear some reasoning from experienced people regardless.

I voted for BTA, just one that's bleached. I'm willing to bet it has white lines around its mouth. The only characteristics it shares with a Sebae are the pink tips and white color, which is typical of Sebaes. Those that make it usually color up to a brownish color.

I don't get it. Can someone show me a photo of a Sebae expressing bubble tips?

It cannot be anything but a BTA. The shape of the bubble, inflation right below the tip give it a nipple appearance is the positive ID characteristic.

My Bubble tips have the pink/purple dot at the tip and then light pink around it. The rest light brown. They were given to me as Rose, but for free who can complain?

The last anemones I had were always long skinny tentacles, these change back and forth all the time. They're bubbled right now, later in the day they'll probably be long and skinny.

Ok, it's still alive and it has white around the mouth to whoever mentioned that. It keeps planting itself in places that have little to no flow and light, which I'm pretty sure aren't helping its health. Any tips on improving its placement and health would be much appreciated. Thanks!

That BTA needs to build up zooxanthelle, so it probably would do best somewhat shaded.
I'd probably place some kind of screen above it for now to keep it shaded but still out in the open(hopefully) and I'd spot feed small food like mysis 2-3 a week to aid in it's recovery.

What color was this when you bought it ? Also I assume you have clowns ? Just curious as I have never seen one bleached out---veird. Good luck BTW.

Feed it everyday.. i just nursed one back to health. If it will eat its a good sigh. Keep crabs awsy for it to eat. It may take a hour or so to get the food down

I definitely agree, BTA but bleached in my opinion.
