Hey Roger....

Saw some info on another web-site about the 9004 nano skimmer. What can you tell us about it?

Is it bigger/smaller than the 9002? Will it be an improvement in performance over the 9002?

Any info would be good!

It is listed on our site and you can find more info in the Interzoo flyer posted on our site, they will be available in September. The 9004 is approx 3.5" by 3.5" so it is about the same area as the 9002 which is about 2.5" by 4.5". It looks nicer, it is stronger as it has a needle wheel pump, but it will not fit in the back compartment of the smaller all in one nanos, the 9002 will remain for these tanks.

Thanks Roger for the link!

I have the 9002 in the back of my 29 gallon Bio-Cube. I'm pleased with it, but I'm always looking for better performance.

The needle wheel sounds really nice.

I'll have to grab the tape measure and see if it will fit!

Do you know if the price will actually be $150.75 as listed on the link? Thanks.

The only all in one tanks it will fit in are the larger Sera and Red Sea Max as well as some Elos filter compartments. It will not fit JBJ and Oceanic, for now the 9002 fills this niche and in 18 months or so a new model will be out to work in these tanks.

Super excited about this new skimmer! To clarify will this fit in the 130L Red Sea Max as well as the 250L+ aquariums?

It measures 4.3 by 3.5", I am not 100% sure on the 130, I could not find the back compartment dimensions online.

Another question for the 9004, will the power cord be longer than the old 9002 model? I always found it to be short for my setup. Thanks in advance

I've seen where folks have stated it will fit in the JBJ RL 30, is this incorrect?

It might, I am not familiar with that model tank and since the skimmer won't be out for nearly 2 months, no one can say that definitely from experience.

Been holding out for this skimmer. Any frim updates on supplies in US and who may get them? Do you know if its already released in europe and if so any feedback or reviews on performance?

At the latest these skimmers should be available by mid October, the goal is late September but transit time and shipping delays may set it back just a bit.

can you please pm me when you hear the 9004 are being shipped to USA, especially if you know where they are being supplied to? i'm literally checking every week online but the online store may not be up to date on their website when they finally come in.

thx

That's funny, I've been doing the same thing. Please let me know when it's available as well, thanks!

I just would have no way to keep up with all the people who want to be PM'd or called regarding availability. My last info was a slight delay, mid October is the most likely date they will arrive. Marine Depot, Premium Aquatics and many local fish stores have already placed orders and will be amongst the first to get them.
