tunze skimmer

everyone talks about the streams, great product. littel hype on the Tunze Comline DOC Skimmers. their pricing seems good but you hear of deltec and etts (and some others) are the ultimates.

are these any good ? and why should I upgrade to one of these rather than another.

I have a 125 connected to a half filled 120 I use as a refugium/sump so about 200 gallons. mainly sps.

I have used both a Deltec TS1250 and a Tunze 240 (old style) modified for direct water intake rather than the diffusion principle.

IME the modified Tunze took out dark skimmate like the deltec - but was much easier to operate - once tuned in it is set and forget, while the deltec IME I was always fiddling to get optimal results.
