Hotel room shots are a little foggy......presumably from all the smoke :smokin:
Funny, I was thinking the same thing when I was reviewing them on the PC. Maybe they were blowing it into the room without my knowledge, and was the reason why I liked this hotel so much!
Did you sample any of their fine coffee? I think that they have shops for that.
I did not. Funny thing is the first time I was in Amsterdam I accidentally stumbled into a "cafe". I was literally walking around the city taking in the sights (yes, including the Red Light District), and got thirsty. So, I saw a "cafe" and decided to stop in for a quick refreshment. It only took me about 1 second after opening the door to realize what "cafe" meant in Amsterdam. That was my one and only visit to a cafe (thankfully, I didn't have any random drug tests in the next 30 days).
WOW!! That worm is huge!! Maybe I have one of those eating all my zoa's palys & zenia's too....never sat up all night to find out. But after seeig this monster I will! lol... As for the AMSTERDAM trip that is AWESOME!!! I always wanted to go there and this hotel will be the one for me!!! VERY NICE!!! I'd spend all my vacation time looking into the tank! And hagning out in the rooms jacuzzi! I'd never get any sight seeing done!
I spent at least 45 minutes in front of the tank taking it in and taking pictures. Honestly, I would have stayed longer except:
1. As it was, they probably thought there was something wrong with me ("Hasn't this guy ever seen a fish tank before?")
2. I had to leave first thing the next morning.
I would have loved to have just sat in front of the tank for a few hours. That said, I did partake in the jacuzzi. I figured I don't have one at home, and it was in my room. So, why not?
and here I was thinkin' you found something nice in Amsterdam, New York :lmao:
I'm sure I'm going to offend somebody here, but I'll say it anyway. I wasn't aware there was anything nice in Amsterdam, NY! :wildone:
what was the other nice thing you found in Amsterdam?
I'm not touching that one with a 10' pole. My neighbors frequent this board! :lolspin:
Not only is the tank amazing, the hotel room is nice and you made it safe home. But, you were at a hotel where the owner is a member of RC. That's the crazy part!
I know...I just wish I would have known beforehand, as I would have alerted them that I was coming so that I could have tried to arrange a private tour of the tank(s). Of course, once they knew it was me that was coming, they probably would have mysteriously ended up with no vacancy.
