if you do a 10% water change that makes your dilution 0.009ppm in your system from your water change. that is better than your system water.

This is only true if my tank water reads 0 po4. All I know is that my ca., alk, mg., etc are always on point. My po4 is always WAY too high. even if my po4 were at, say, 0.15 and I do a 50% water change... using make up water with a po4 reading of .09, that will bring my water to what, .12?? Thats just not good enough for me.
Now, if my po4 was at .15 and I did a 50% water change (I never would, its just an easy figure to work with) with make up water that reads .01... well, you know what Im saying...
All I know is that Im a 10 minute car ride from the tap. If I didnt think there was a problem with it, OF COURSE I'd continue to use it!! The fact is, besides the po4 issue, my growth and color should be great... I wish that was the case...
Ive been using that water for close to 2 years and Ive always had high po4. If the salt mix I just made lowers my po4, increases growth and improves color... the problem is obvious...
I guess we'll have to wait and see......................
