Well it's started my 58 g pieces are starting to come together .

Here's a custom sump made by a local guy who doesn't do it for a living , but you would never know it .

here's the new skimmer . I broke with my first instinct to go with what I think is the best. ( Beckett ) To go with size and efficeincy.

Deltec AP 600.:p

Here's a little modification I had to do the skimmer cup . It bugs me that so many needle wheels don't come with drains for it .

Here's a shot of the tank all painted up . It's 36"x18"x20".58 reef ready .

The back is drilled for a closed loop .

Jolio99 What kind of corals are you thinking about? Your 120 was mostly sps.

Half will be sps's from my 120 , and the half will be an RBTA for the clowns .
Rivenjim is that a all glass or oceanic tank?

Oceanic .

Acrylic .;) The guy who built it did an awsome job . The acrylic is so thick it feels like glass .

Alright Joe! Glad to see the 58gal is coming along. Only difference between the 120 and the 58 is less fish and you have to frag more.....which could be good for the rest of us ;)

Hey, I was playing around with a deltec APF 600 at my LFS. When you got your deltec did you wonder what the heck makes it cost so much? The materials used don't seem to be worth all that cash although the performance of the skimmer and efficency is awesome.

$$$$ where does it go , not in materials , although it does feel pretty tough . I'd still which I had room for an MRC .
