what does everybody think about waterchanges while curing lr. I have 14 pounds in a 10 gallon bucket with 1 295 gph quiet one and an 80 gph powerhead. How about water changes while cycling.

Thanks

I believe its a good idea to do partial water changes that way if you are getting any die off, the rock isnt sitting in that. Have you been testing the params on that water? Are you seeing any ammonia, nitrites, or nitrates? If not, than its probably safe to say its cured, depending on how long its been in there. If you are, do small water changes every few days until you are seeing a drop. Than do a large water change and wait a day or so, and test again. If everything comes up 0 after the big water change, then your good to go.
