Wazzel's mostly SPS 120

Technically, yes they need some sand..
But a Tupperware in the corner, behind a rock, would suffice.
And yes, I've had a yellow wrasse jump on me, as well, but they are not jumpers like the fairy wrasses are..

Great fts mark,i just imagined how it will look like in the near future and it will be awesome man, based on that aqua-coral scape:thumbsup:
Clean sump too!
+1 on the guys regarding the wrasses

Your tank is looking great! I agree about having some wrasses in there.

Thanks, will see. I really do not want to have to have sand in my tank. I have had flashers and fairies in BB tanks before with out any issues. I may go that route.

I will be ordering a top, probably tonight so jumpers will not be a big issues once it comes in.

Thanks. It is basically how I envisioned it. I like the low scape, my corals should be able to get to good sizes now.

I love my swallow tail angel. Do some reading on them. They don't form pairs like in other species but do show colors based on dominance. You could achieve the same with two different species of swallow tails. Bellus are beautiful but I think females look better. Maybe one bellus and one zebra.

Yeah, with flashers and fairies you don't need sand, just a good cover of some kind.

Chopped out thr dead table, kind of sad. Did a little arranging. Still have more to do, but do not want to press my luck.

The Alk spike has passed. Put the doser and kalk stirrer back on line today. Did a 5 gal water changes and a bit more rearanging.

Mark,
Glad to see the tank transfer was a success. Having that big holding tank must have cut down on your stress level greatly! Makes me wish I would have had some sort of one set up when I moved houses. Still love the light rack, makes me want to get rid of my hood and mount my hydra 26s on something similar. Tank looks clean and if it will be anything like your 60 cube it will look stunning.

Thanks. The big holing tank helped a lot. It this tank does as well as the 60 I will be happy.

Well here we are two weeks past transfer. Things seem to be going well. One of the corals I wrote off is still hanging on. It has about 1/2" of flesh on one little piece. Today i noticed the polyps are starting to extend. I might get away with only loosing one piece after all. The only issues I am dealing with right now is getting the Alk dialed back in.

Nice mark,things look really cool:thumbsup:
Glad you lost only one of them.Transfering tanks can be a difficult quest with much risk in it.

Where does your detritus settle? In the middle at the back?

Thanks, we will see about the one thing. I have a few corals still look rough.

The detritus settles along the back wall, basically the entire length. It is a bigger pile right in the middle.

Have you been able to check par since the transfer? Has there been any complications with the transfer besides getting the alk dialed in?
