Wazzel's mostly SPS 60 Cube

You have some good growth for the tank age. The tank isn't even mature though and you're upgrading already? [emoji38] You guys are nuts...I don't like upgrading/downgrading etc...new tanks suck! [emoji14]

Poor planning on my part. I either need to thin my corals out or get a bigger tank.

Bull in a china shop I am. During tank maintenance I broke two frags off the blueberry field. I had more turf wars to sort out, while doing so I broke a colony in half. Friday I was scraping coralline and the inner part of the tunze care magnet came of and on its way down it took out about 1/3 of my setosa. Good thing that was in one piece. Rough weekend to be a coral in my tank.

Update pics coming soon (November). I added a yellow eye kole tang a week back. Originally slated for the frag tank, but it did not like it there so in the display it went. Added a red tuxedo urchin to the frag tank. It is kind of cool. I dumped a bunch of frags at the LFS and took out half the grate. The frag tank had becomes a eye sore and a giant PITA to keep up. Since I pulled half the grate and got rid of a bunch of frags things have turned around. I guess all the grate was blocking flow. The frag tank might make the update since it looks so nice. Right now if has only a few frags for sale and functioning more as and overflow/holding tank as I pull pieces that are getting shaded or causing trouble in the display. This weeks re-home was my green Caulastrea. The teal one may be joining it soon.

Once marching season is over I need to tie up a few home projects that are not quite finished. After that I will be starting on the upgrade.

Top down teaser.

Height off water is 5 3/8". I have been tweaking my lights lately. So I now run everything at 100% except white, which is at 70%. I wanted to get just a bit more blue look to the tank. I do run two units. Not sure what the acans get at full power. I can throw the par meter on it over the weekend. Full power happens between 1 and 5 pm so I really do not get a chance to see it during the week.

Thanks. I am looking forward to getting them more room to spread, but some days I look at my tank and wonder if I really want to risk the transfer. The tanks is doing so well lately.

I am also looking forward to getting some of the gems in my frag tank into a display. I got an Oregon tort, Red Planet, Tierra del Fuego, Red Dragon, SSC, pink panther, coolers turaki and a few unknown rescues that are turning into interesting things. Some came to me as browed and some as bleached. The OT was a rescue and was in really bad shape. Had STN and was bad discolored. It got the color back and is growing back over the loss tissue. I got one frag that came to me with just a few polyps, now it is a nice sized frag that is light blue. I have no clue how it will grow. It could be a stag or a plating, who knows.
