Wazzel's mostly SPS 60 Cube

It's looking pretty good:dance:
I'd love to see a comparison before and after adding the second light to see the improvement in coverage.

The only place it is real obvious is on the far left side, above the chalice. On a few individual pieces there are spots that were "away" from the light.

Tank looks great! I've been running two 52's and a pair of 24w t5's over a 150DD for a few months now. Been getting pretty pale coloration, so I've mirrored your initial settings at a 30% reduction over two months. I'm curious to see if elevating the white green and red has a positive impact.

Have you ever noticed if frags from different light sources do better or worse when transitioning to the 52? Like if MH grown do better than t5?

I have not noticed a significant difference in the parent tank light. It does take a few months for corals to come around to my lighting, but that is expected. Lightening in color is not alway light it could be food.

Great looking tank! I saw a few pages back that you are running near 100% for all LED colors. I have 2 Hydra 26's over my 65 and I am still running pretty low (60% blues, 37% white, 30% G R) but am very happy with the color I am getting so far. Did you see an increase in color on your pieces when you upped the lights to where they currently run now? Also love the 12 month growth shots!

Thanks, I did notice better color and growth as the lights got brighter. As I was increasing the light was also over the same time that I was getting the rest of the tank situated. I think having brighter lights helped, but doubt very seriously it was the only variable that mattered.

With the 2 units I have them set to go to 95% across the board, except for deep blue which will go to 100%. I am a couple of weeks into the acclimation. I started with a 45% reduction, 3 month ramp so I got some time to figure out if I am going to let it go that high. I may stop it when it get to 75% or so, but if I do not see any negatives I am just going to let it keep going.

The tank has been growing like mad the past few months. I have relocated 2 of my branching euphillia and 2 millies to my frag tank. The LPS were starting to sting things around them and the millies had been crowded out and not growing. I am going to hold on to them in the frag tank until the (hopeful) upgrade happens. I really need to move a few more things, but until I get the second light for the frag tank I am just about out of room in the area that gets light.

The second light is really helping out the few pieces that were shaded. They have gotten their color back already and are kicking into growth mode. The two that are showing the biggest turn around are my wondermelon and copps hulk millies.

I'm trying your 2 hr ramp up on my tank and it's been a week and I've notice better color and more growth

I believe it's higher than 60% due to switching to 12k witch brings all colors to full on. I may raise the 2 hrs a little a month and see how that works also. Thanks fo your experience.

Reeftub, just FYI the percent reductions are cumulative. The number in apex will reduce the mix by that percent.

Example: if you have you lights set a 80% and run the total intensity at 50% your channels are actually at 40%.

So for your settings they are all below the total except for the 12k which has them all at 100%.

Well here are the 15 month shots. Just iPhone shots, hope you enjoy.

Just glanced through a good bit of this thread... looking especially good as of late!!
Great balance of Acro's, Monti's and LPS

Thanks all. The biggest problem I have now is I can not move frags locally. Just not much of a market. My frag tank is filling up.
