Wazzel's mostly SPS 60 Cube

Thanks. I am looking forward to getting them more room to spread, but some days I look at my tank and wonder if I really want to risk the transfer. The tanks is doing so well lately.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained my friend. Think positive!

Great top down! Corals are looking great! I just started a 100 gal tank that's BB and will be using LEDs. Hope I can mimic your coral growth and colors.

Height off water is 5 3/8". I have been tweaking my lights lately. So I now run everything at 100% except white, which is at 70%. I wanted to get just a bit more blue look to the tank. I do run two units. Not sure what the acans get at full power. I can throw the par meter on it over the weekend. Full power happens between 1 and 5 pm so I really do not get a chance to see it during the week.

Just impressive. You will surprise everyone with you par numbers. You did great with your acclamation hands down. Looking forward in see your par numbers when you can. Heck I'm running 1 26 on s 40g at 42% on all channels so far slowly increasing par at water surface is 400 and my fixture is 8" above water surface.

My par on the tank bottom is 200-300 depending on how far off center. The max I found was at the top tip of my tort at just over 1000.

A few days early, but lets call it 18 months none the less.

Fantastic! Awesome Growth for 18 Months! I started a 60 cube about the same time you did and yours looks much better.

Awesome 12 month growth shot, at that rate you'll be busting at the seams in a year or two

Thanks for the kind words. I don't think I have to worry about busting out of this tank. I got a 120 sitting in my back room waiting for me to have some time to put the system together. All thes guys are going to get a new home in a few months.

I picked up a matted filefish today. Hope it combats my aiptasia problem.

The tank is looking great and it's not only cool that you have the 12 month progress shot, but that so many of the corals stayed in the same place so it's easy to see the development. I move corals around a lot so it's hard to do those cool comparisons. You sir, have a coral "green thumb"

Thanks. None of the SPS have moved. I have moved some of the LPS out of necessity. I like to just let things be.

I had a lot of aiptasia and tried a filefish and it didn't do anything, so I got a couple of berghia
nudibranchs. They cleaned one side of the tank, then it seemed they stopped, so I got 3
more. Then I noticed more of them on the glass at night, so the originals we're still there.

At any rate they quickly cleared my tank and overflow and I started to notice them in
the filter sock, so I transferred a few over to a small tank I having running and the cleared the
few in there very fast. Interesting, effecient little animals :).

P.S. Great growth for 12 months. If i get anything close to that, I'll be happy.

I have already tried and had no luck with peppermint shrimp and berghia. I really wanted a copper banded butterfly, but have not been able to get one local.
