All dipped and acclimated! (remember to dip. If you forgot this time, ask and we can point you on how and what to do for next time.


Blue acro
Peach milli
Purple haze Monti (from Mary, I believe)
Zoa amayeu orange (waiting for it open)
Green blue acro (club)
Fruit punch acro (who is this from???)

Someone brought Monti frags with blue base, red polyps. (what is it?)


Red-green favia (to come back to club in a future meetup after I grow it out more)

Danny, the one I brought had a label. Colin did say there was an unlabeled Space Monster. Did you pick it up?

A small handful of people have received my version of SM. either they contributed back or it's a separate strain. If it us different, would love to know over this next year how that one does compared to mine.

Mike did you over dipped the turaki? They don't do too well with dips so the dipping solution has to be mild and the time duration had to be quick.

I also got a couple of hitchhikers. Little brittlestars! I don't know if these are friend or foe. See the picture. The arms of one just shows on the left side of the plug. Should I kill them or are they keepers?

Yes, dipped iodine on all. Good to know. I don't think I will try again, but it was the prettiest purple stick for a few hours.

Iodine will kill turaki instantly so I use either Bayers or other non iodine base dips. Don't worry though, if you are nice to Grant he might set you up with another piece

BTW this also apply to all the thin branching sps corals such as echinata and deep water red dragon ect.
