I was thinking since two fall/winter major sport leagues are about to begin. Why not have a SLASH Hockey or Football Fantasy League between friends. We can start threads for trash talk on each sport in our club lounge and some here on RC. I will start out by looking for interest plus PM me if you want to be commissioner of the league. Looking at doing this thru yahoo since its free if you have experience running it. No money games just bragging rights. I can tell you from experience it is a great way to get even more into your favorite sport. Even if the home team is lacking in the winning category.

For anyone who hasn't done this its easy. You can let things ride after a auto draft, or you can select, trade players. Its fun if you follow a particular sport. Keeps things active anyone for or against?

I am in for football and I have never done a hockey league but would give it a try

I tried winter league once. It took forever to be over with. Nook if you want to go bowling my kid has been bugging me to go for weeks. Trottman has asked before as well. I am sure we can get something together down in SOCO.

I've never done a football one so were even. sign up sheets have started.

I will do either if it's for money. Doesn't have to be a ton but something to make the bragging rights go all year. I've never done a fantasy team all the way through the season as I get board as it's free but I take most my stuff to the sportsbooks. We don't have to have a pay "site" but everyone entering pays. 3rd pays even, 2nd ???, 1st ??? plus bragging rights

How long ago did you bowl 300? Columbia or Belleville? It would be even cooler if you got a jacket to match.

I have a sign up sheet I am keeping track on. Anyone interested on either fantasy league. Let me know.

i just practice throwing the ball as hard as i can. I have gotten it up to 25 i think. i love to bowl, and i am French Canadian so there are no questions asked about the hockey bit. Sorry i dont get into the online fantasy junk though.
