What is a good supplement for SPS color?

I have been using reef chili for about 3 months and its an amazing difference. I started feeding it cause I had a pale blah tank due to it being a sterile enviroment. Started feeding fish more and dosing alot of reef chili and results have been fantastic. Growth, color, and PE is great. I Personally dose it aobut 3 hours after lights out and then ever wed and saturday I also dose in morning.

i went from red sea coral pro to Reefcrystals....now back to red sea coral pro, the black bucket..just did my first water change with it last night. I had much better colors with the Red Sea over reefcrystals.

I just p/u my bucket of RS Coral Pro last night. The bucket is not black anymore, new packaging and new formula?? I went to their website to confirm and sure enough it's all "New"

Still need to burn through 3/4 of a bucket of IO first

I would start mixing the two together. Or just toss the twenty bucks left of IO and switch salts. Its not worth battling color. Issues over a bucket of salt. Maybe sell your remaining salt to another local hobbyist?

Yeah, I was thinking about that. Going to call my LFS see if he will trade or credit me for the remainder. He is really cool about stuff like that. At one point I was supplying him with 1/3 of his coral stock and still trade him with my trimmings :thumbsup:

I would reccomend mixing the two together for a few wc. This way their won't be a huge shock to your system with different levels of all the misc stuff in different salts. You will have to adjust how you maintain Cal and alk. If I remember red sea has a lot of lower values than RC.
