What is the oldest fish you have in your tank?

currently my Clown trigger been with me 14 years but is much older as it was an adult already when i got it. My flame angel was with me over 16 years and i estimate was about 20 years old when it passed away

Still going strong but i see it losing musculature and occasionally having difficulty eating foods now

Flame passed away this year was with me for 16 years and was full grown when i got it as well, i estimate it was well in 20 s when it died , i miss him,he went through 4 different tanks over that period.

NatureNerd, those are fantastic pictures. You have some skills with a camera.

When I had my 265 running all the fish were at least 12 years old, I had a powder blue, a coral beauty and flame, an argi( he might have been around 10) and a sailfin. Needless to say I had a party at the house and the next morning when I went to the tank everything was dead. Including corals, This is hat made me take a 5 year break from the hobby.

That's awful - I think it might make me take a break from my friends, too.

i am in this hobby for 4 years...and my oldest being a picasso trigger i have for 3&1/2 years...and a queen coris for 3 years...i know it is pretty lame considering many guys here, but my queen coris was 3 inch when i acquired it with juvenile colour, and it's now 7inch with full adult colour...it gives me hope to go on with this hobby and improve, when i suffer some setback or make mistakes...

Pair of tomatos, 22 years old. Got them from their original breeder when he retired. Their bday is March 8th :) Here's a pic of them prior to me acquiring the pair:

My female percula was purchased in November 2007, and was the first fish in my tank.
I recently picked up a pair of tomato clowns that the previous owner said were over 5years old.
