I bought an established breeding pair of snowflakes that are huge. They've laid eggs before. I have them in a ten gallon tank with a tile and 2 pieces of established live rock and a big Aqua clear filter filled with old rubble rock from another system and a bag of gfo. I feed 5-6 times a day and siphon the uneaten food out every night. I know they'll spawn when they're ready and It may even never happen but my question is, how soon have you had a breeding pair that was already laying spawn after being moved to a different tank? I've had clowns soawn before and Im already seeing similar behavior with these. The male keeps nudging her abdomen and shimmying in front of her and he also began cleaning off a patch of the underside of the tile but that doesn't guarantee anything. So how long did it take for your breeding pairs to spawn after being moved? Thanks!
