Where/How to get Red Nori (instead of green one)

The tittle said it all. Where and how any of you get the less common Red (lavender color) Nori. I try to feed my fish a variety of food. I found a bunch of red nori sheet in a oriental food market while on vacation there, and got them all. I am about to run out of these Red Nori. I wanted to get more but not able to find any in Corpus Christi, San Antonio or Houston. Where do you guys get these Nori?
Or is it just me (the only one trying to get Red Nori)? I know that my fish are vivid in colors. I like to feed them as wide variety of their natural food as I can.

I can also only find the green sheets locally. I still have to buy the sea veggies purple nori and red seaweed packs. Former is purple/lavender in color; latter is red, but it's actual dried seaweed in original form, not sheets.

I can get the dry seaweed of these colors but the way I put them on a clip, it is hard unless I get sheets of them.

Rod's Seaweed Blend has it along with purple and green. That's what I use. I get them locally but you should be able to find some online.

The Red stuff is actual seaweed pieces, not the processed stuff we are use to seeing. My fish seem to care the least for the Red but love the purple stuff. I get bulk packs of Red,Green and purple from amazon

I am used to paying about 10-12 dollars for 260 gm which is about 100 sheet. I am feeding 2 sheets to my tank every day. If I use Rod's Blend veggie, my fish will eat me out of my house.
The Lavender Nori I got is a Korea product from Haitai, INC, Bar code number 20914 80246. It is a 50 sheet for about 8.00
The Green Nori is a Korea product from Wang Globalnet, Bar code number 87703 01171. It is a 100 sheet pack for about 12.00
The red algae I use does not come in sheet but just raw dry red algae. I cannot attache them well to my clip and want to see if I can find these in sheets like the other two.

I have always use food for human consumption for my tank. It is so much cheaper.
The price I pay is about 10% of the price CoralsAddiction pay for his algae.

Which seller sell the Purple (lavender) Nori? I am having a hard time finding these as well.

Same here. Nori sheets, independent of colour, are torn and eaten very quickly. Red gets eaten, but at a more 'leisurely' pace

I assume you don't have a Korean supermarket in Corpus Christy. We have quite a few around here in the South Bay. Post a picture of the package and I see if they have it here if I get there next time.

Look for Emerald Cove brand. You want the stuff that says Organic Pacific Nori (Untoasted, dried) and comes in a greenish bag (Not the red bag.) Natural grocery stores sometimes stock it, otherwise you can order it online. It has a dark red coloration, and after I discovered it, it's the only stuff I will use.

My local petsmart sells omega one nori packs. Both in green and in red. $5.99 a package. Only has 24 sheets but they are long. I rip them in half

The difference between the colors is that the green is roasted, the purple/red is not. The roasting is what changes the pigmentation. I have found both in the oriental market/grocery stores- just look at package carefully. Mihn, the ones I've seen are all the same species of seaweed.

Side question, but related: How vital is it to feed nori to tangs? I mean, do you have to do it? I know many do, but many don't...

i try to feed nori to my tangs twice a week...they never even pick at it...

Not sure what I need to do to get them to eat it but they don't even look at it now.
