So, came home last night to see my foxface stuck to the powerhead. I tried to explain to him that the one on the left has no intake cover, but obviously he isn't a good listener.

It was a close save and was pretty bummed and assumed as he lay flat on the bottom that he wasn't going to make it. He seemed pretty lifeless when I pulled him off. this a.m. there he is up and swimmin around just fine. except one of his eyeballs is half out of socket.

Now he is officially an O.G. Gangsta fish. hahahaha.. anyone else got any swimming around?

Kat...waiting for our first flamehawk to come in at ABC Pets...we're pumped...kids so excited!

As far as gangsta fish I would say that our female Maroon with the jacked up lips is pretty gangsta! When we first introduced it to the other small maroon it was a rough cpl days involving lots of liplocking. Now they are to peas in a pod and share a BT nem.

When the light come on I'll put a pic up. Flame hawks are AWESOME!! they are freakin suicidal though there's NO doubt about that. Had a few. all were jumpers.

I had a maculosus angel for years in my FOWLR. He got an eye infection when I first introduced him to my tank and when he recovered the pupil in the infected eye remained deformed, kind of like a narrow slit.

He was a real beauty, but would turn and give you that evil eye every once in a while.

I traded him in when I went to a reef tank, but I really miss that fish.
