will my BTA gain color back ? ( Pics Included )

Greetings !!

i bought this BTA 10 days ago, and it was pink, i didnt use MH for a week and it bleached !!! :'(

now I got her a MH 150watts and she got those greenish tint at the tips slowly, but very little green still and not visible in pics donno why, but i can see it when i get close , I feed her a tiny meal each 2 days and she looks good size wise, i once heard that if a coral or anemone bleached then its over, noway she's coming back to color up , is this true ? BTW she grew triple the size in my tank so fast, in the LFS she was tiny ,here's a pic

pic today !!! 15 days , and under 150watts MH 12K 10 hours a day with 2 actinics ( she looks more bubbly and full now , naughty girl hehe ):

will she ever gain the color back ? and why am i seeing those green tints at tips, she used to be pink not green ,

umm ya she looks healthier but what about the color ?

BTW . her base is very rich RED now, but tentacles bleached

How long has your tank been up and running? Did you have any light on it before you added the MH? What are the water parameters?

No, it doesn't look healthier in the last pic. Loss of color is a sign of poor health. And yes, it can regain its color with proper care.

tank been running for 3 months now , yes i had actinics and T5's , water parameters are all good, i dont have any fish in this tank except this juvi clown, everything is normal

it actually looks worse in the last pic...my only hope is you have the pictures backwards...

i too am trying to recover a bleached RBTA...of course, it was my own fault that it bleached. too much light, too high temp. i have been feeding it krill soaked in selcon every other day and it is sloooowly regaining some of its color.

too much light ???? oh my case is the opposite, mine was too little light , and when i got her from stupid LFS it was ripped off from a rock in his tank and she had a terrible wound, now its all healed in 15 days, no signs of any wounds, i donno , ill just wait and see, hope she gains some color back , thank you all for your help .

How many watts of T-5 did you have it under. T-5 lighting is excellent if you have enough of it. What size tank? Three months is a bit too soon for an anemone. What exactly are your water parameters? What is ok for some livestock, is not ok for an anemone. Being torn off of a rock is never good.

I agree. Your fish store should know better than to rip it off a rock....you should tell them if they haven't figured it out.

Just feed it small pieces, keep your parameters stable, and hopefully it will come back. But anemones have a very tough time once their foot has been ripped or torn....
