To achieve this you will have to change your lifestyle, Those forms of energy will not support the comforts you use and want to be a part of your daily life.
It's all Pie in the sky at this point in time, As technology improves in Decades from now this May be a viable option but in the real world (Not the Theoretical one) all that is just a bunch of hooey preached by the greenies that live in huge mansions like Albert I invented the internet you know who.
If they had their way you would not be allowed to have a car or a hobby!

I agree on some of this, but there are things that could be done now to use green fuels to get more elect. Check this out as an example of bio-fuels that could help with this country's energy consumption.

Interesting, Wonder why the Buzz is not about this invention being close to reality. The Oil Co's will try and squash this like they do with any thing else that cuts their profits. I would love to see this happen in my lifetime and the oil rich gulf will once again be just desert.

The Problem is they buy these inventors off and put this technology in a vault somewhere in bum Fetch Egypt and we all pay the price for it. They have engines that will get very high gas milage but Big Oil don't want them in production so they buy the people off and keep the party going for their BIG profits. And Politicans are in the same payoff mode as the rest of the sellouts that keep the world dependant on oil until it runs out. By then America will be a third world country with no money and tons of debt. JMO

I think it's crazy that your electric is going up bc feb. 11 mine goes down from 8.3 per kwh to 5.3 cents per kwh.

See my other post on the Green Dream, It's a long way from reality to keep the kind of life style most of us are used to and really don't want to give up.
LMK when the get wind powered cars and trucks and that Solar panel is great but it costs more than most peoples houses to install one that will get you off the grid. All these Ideas are great they just are not yet cost effective in the real world where most people make 10.00 hr and can barely afford food. Progressive Never.

I'd love to put solar on my house now and have a near perfect roof to do so... but solar is too expensive for now. Of course if the subsidies going to big oil were applied tomorrow to solar instead, solar would be very affordable.

Yup, IMO it's all a big Ponzie scheme as to who gets what? Only thing for sure is it comes from your pockets. Unions are getting a huge payoff for pensions the Co's could never have paid, But thanks to the Gov't Motors Co they will indeed see those crazy amounts promised some will get 90% of their original salaries plus med ins for life all complements of taxpayers.
