WonderWall

Very creative.

Coming from the 'master of creative', that means a lot!
You were one of my RC inspirations.
I can't say I read your whole build thread, but I did at least skim over most of the 330+ pages . . .
What an incredible build!!

Thanks again!!

I've been keeping an eye on this thread, and I have to say, wow that is one beautiful setup! It's motivation to get me working on my 75 gallon build lol. By the way, I saw earlier in the thread a mention of being in pa, where at I'd you don't mind me asking? I'm out of shillington (just out of reading).

2nd vid was funny! It's like the shrimp was the ref

(Kind of) funny story about the (second) video:
I am on a houseboat in Voyagers National Park (Northern Minnesota/Canada-fishing trip), the video was taken by the guy who is feeding the tanks. He sent the video via text to my wife & myself. My wife replied 'mating!!', he responded 'I thought it was a lovers quarrel. . . Add one shrimp for some kinky three way action'.
So, apparently the shrimp is not a ref, rather a participant.

Thank you!
I know Shillington (I used to 'date' a chick from there), when I attended Albright college.
I live about a 1/2 mile from the end of 422. Near Valley Forge National Park.

Update:

Busted out the Canon 5D (no iPhone pix, Yay!)
Still getting used to taking aquarium pix . . .
Apologies for the sub-standard quality (they are better than the iPhone pix)!

This pic reminds me of the scene in Finding Nemo when the school of fish change shape to form different things . . .

Pistol shrimp & Randall Goby. Not the best pic - they won't hold still.

I had a scare yesterday AM. When I came downstairs, my 5 yo daughter was looking into a tank. She said Jacque (cleaner shrimp) was laying on his side - Uh-Oh! I looked in the tank & Jacque was stuck to the powerhead screen - my heart sank. I thought (for a minute) he was dead & the high flow over him caused him to waste away. Then I saw an antennae poking out from some live rock, Jacque was fine, he just molted. Awesome! Growing / molting is much, much better than dead.

Awesome pics man! Gonna hopefully get me a shrimp and goby combo soon! What's been added to the big tank?

Yesterday we put into the main DT:
12 Bangai Cardinals
3 Green Chromis
2 Bimaculatus Anthais (they went right for the rocks, so no pix)
18 Peppermint Shrimp
Candy cane colony (about 20 heads)

I'll take some FTS of the main tank . . .

BTW, Pistol shrimp & Goby are really neat to watch for hours - highly recommended.

I will update my livestock list & post it here in the near future.

Nice pics. Get a tripod and ALWAYS shoot straight into the tank. Never at an angle.

I learned the hard way a long time ago. :)

Lets see some new ones... Keep this trend up!!

Worm,
Thank you (again) for the kind words, tips and encouragement. This was an impromptu, quickie, photo shoot. I will utilize the tripod more in the future, that's for sure! I am taking a photography class tailored to shooting aquaria in the near future. I'm looking into getting a new telephoto lens. A 100mm f/2 .8L macro lens as a matter of fact.
I just had to reboot my computer. I was having issues downloading the camera to the computer. I will try to get some more up in the near-er future.

OK, after a reboot blah blah blah

Here are a couple more:
Say hello to my little frien

I spied this little guy, hitch-hiker. I happened to be standing there with camera in hand . . .
picture.php

Any ideas? Good guy or bad?
It looks like a cross between a nudi & a snail. It's shell(?) is shaped more like a turtle shell & it is under it (like a little hard hat) rather than in it. I saw him the other day blowing smoke (spawning?) I didn't really see it, just his antennae (& smoke).
Here is another shot where it is elongated, out from under it's shell (the shell is hardly an inch long).
