WonderWall

Is this a typical type of overflow for some people? where I am from I have never seen any overflow outside of the actual tank

Yes, Rail (get it?)

It's aka an external scupper . . .
Maximizes DT space

I got it GMC

I have never seen one before but it seems like a great idea if the tank is going in a wall.

Your system looks amazing, cant wait to see it fully up and running

Truck is here with 750lbs live rock & 500g salt water . . .

Gonna be running saltwater by days end ! ! !

You have a lot of work ahead of you, aquascaping 750lbs of rock will not be fun (atleast I dont thinnk so)
I hope it turns out nice

don't lose your patience when aquascaping, turn that rock every which way, then walk away and come back an hour later and rinse and repeat. I have made some pretty slick doing that. and when in doubt, Dremel it out

Rail,
You are correct, it's not 750lbs. He brought 750, I got around 500lbs (some is in the sump . . .) the rest, he is taking with when he goes.

Meanwhile . . .
Main DT is full

Well you definitely work fast, just remember to go slow with the fish.

Can you take a full wall pic

Mark,
main pump = Tiger Shark 1.5 hp
(I have a spare plumbed up & ready to go for when it fails . . . )

My wife is fine, we have a taller (2 story extension) ladder.
My father-in-law gave it to me because we eloped . . .
(It was my dream wedding drive-thru in Vegas, jeans & a tee shirt, I didn't say 'I do', I said 'absa-f&^@ing-lutly'

Thanks GMC...so whats your backup main? Same brand? I will need to pump from basement to first floor too, and wanted to steal any good ideas...:p
