Worm's 180 build

Yeah.... and that is about right... Hummm But I only have two 200 watt heaters on that section. Or are they 300.. I dont remember.

Wait until I put the 800 watt heaters in. LOL

So I have been looking at a few other thnigs too after addign the 120DT and upgrading the sump to 75.

My sirface area has increased and so has my evaporation.

I am running a 5.5ml doser as my ATO pump.

In the past I was running for about 8 minutes twice an hour. That was about 88ml every hour or so.

I also upgraded the ATO to an avast, comapred to a float switch.

Now it runs every two hours for about 19m - 28,. So that is 104 - 154 ml every two hours.

I had to look back at some posts and all because my historical data is gone. I need to find out the program/setting/xls that will let me copy it down... how many points over a 10 minute trend.... equals how much data??

OK I am not the census bureau so I do not need all that data. Maybe fox news does. (John Stewart reference, sorry.)

Here is a new video.

It is a timelapse from about 1400 to 1900.

Had not done one in a while and I wanted to see how the tank acted under a new lighting schedule.

Here is a new video of some shots I took today.

Things were looking real nice today.

Hope you enjoy, It is still creating it so it might be unavailable for a few minutes.

Excellent colour in your latest movie.

Dave.M

Thanks you two!

BTW.. for those following along, I have two weeks left in my 5 week quarantine of some corals and frags I got.

I definitely want to make sure any traces of MARINE VELVET are NON EXISTENT!! Granted the previous owner did not have any issues. I just want to make sure.

Stability

Stability

OK so I replaced ONE of my three heaters with a new Finnex 800w with controller that is also controlled by the Apex.

Look at this graph:

800temp.png

Granted this is over a small temperature range, but before I had it settled down it was fluctuating up to almost 10 degrees. Now it fluctuates 0.7 degrees.

I am thinking of setting it to the "season" based temp, built into the apex.

Right now I have it set to:

Fallback OFF
If Temp < 77.8 Then ON
If Temp > 78.1 Then OFF
If Temp < 60.0 Then OFF

New setting:

Fallback Off
If Temp < RT+-0.2 Then ON
If Temp > RT+0.2 Then OFF
If Temp < 60.0 Then OFF

WHAT??!!??

What ever... If push comes to shove I can setup a remote connection and program it for you.
