It looks like the other 2 duncan heads are gone. I hope I'm wrong. Try to feed the remaining head some shrimp. It will feed the rest of the colony.

yeah those two heads look like they are gone. I've had duncans close for a few days at a time but you could still see the tissue of the duncan.

I think I have a problem with my duncan....

It had three nice heads on it. Just this past week the other two heads covered them self up and when doing some maintenance I blew the top/cover off and it looks like two heads receded.

Thoughts?

I had this issue when I changed GFO brands and forgot to turn down the flow in my reactor. The lack of nutrients caused them to shrivel up but after a week or so, they were out again.

The column's they were in, is now all white.

I think those two heads have passed on. The third head, attached to the same bunch is still alive though.

Anyone else have good experiences with them, that would help me? It has been in the tank for about 4 weeks and has seriously done major impact!?

Sea Hare is an awesome GHA eradication, but is suspect you may need to view it as a 'rental'. When I have used them to remove algae, never could get them to eat anything else once the algae was gone.

I am at that stage now. Uugh... I have not seen it since I put it in so I do not know where it is to catch it.

BTW... these are like 4000x4000 + pixels. Yeah enough for a background/poster or what ever else. I like my camera!!

He just started that. After the clam wanted to take a bite of him... LOL
