Went out yesterday and got the ReefLink device and zeo's reef snow.

Got the reeflink working after clearing my cache. Just waiting for the Android app now.

Yes very cool.

Oh by the way, that top off system isn't all that great - well let me qualify that. I couldn't use the pump because my reservoir is higher than the sump so it would siphon. Using the Tunze pump as it sits in the reservoir on the bottom which is lower than the outlet works well. The other pump is external.

The controller on the other hand is pretty nifty. It shows the status of when the sump is topped off, when it's in-between top off points and when it's done topping off. Has an audible sound too for when the fill is complete. The sensors are nice and work as advertised, but the bracket on the magnet that holds the sensor is chincy <sp> I had to glue one of the sensors to the magnet as I had dropped it and it snapped right off. This is an area they need to improve. They should be more robust.

Well I did some maintenance this weekend.

Scrapped off ALL the coraline on the FRONT of the DT.

With some help started to build the stand for the 120.

Figured out a way to replace the 40g with a 75g for the sump. This is the new sump that will handle BOTH the 120 and the 180 combined.

Bought a reeflink.. but read that the apex fusion will make the reeflink non-compatible. (basically it is one or the other.. not both)

I took quite a few pictures.. Uploading them now.
