wtb: NICE LR and sand

... experimenting w/ my new tank. trying to start w/ primarily "dead" rock (old LR from other's tanks) and build up the bioload by seeding w/ some nice, colorful LR and a bit of sand from established systems, perhaps some GARF "grunge" as well. Size/shape are unimportant. I live in SF, so only interested in those less than 1-1.5 hrs from the city. Thanks in advance.

... or, alternately, if anyone has seen some decent LR for sale in a LFS. *except for the new "Ocean's Treasures(?)" on Duboce, which wants $25lb for the LR in their SPS tank. Better be some real treasure in there for that price!

I've got about 75# of live aragonite sand / gravel that came out of a clean tank and is currently in one of my holding systems. You're welcome to take it ... it will fill one (very heavy) large salt bucket or 2 smaller ones. I'm in Lafayette which is about 25 minutes from the City if traffic is reasonable.

$25 a pound wow.... there better be some SPS frags that come with those pieces of LR....

I guess I got a way better deal from my TBS Coral Deco LIVE ROCK.. which came with tons of hitchhickers... tunicates, tiny clams, sponges, cup corals, macro algae, pods, ampipods, worms , micro fauna etc..... for about $3-$4 total a pound.. :lol:
