Yellow SPS suggestions

I'm looking to add some more color to my SPS tank, and I'm looking for a nice yellow colored coral. Anyone have any suggestions or pics of yellow SPS corals?

If you look at many of the 'high end' coral sellers online, there are some beautiful examples of yellow torts. I'd also add turbinaria (often called a scroll coral) to the list. I know there are disagreements about whether porities and turbinaria are SPS, they like the same water quality and look like SPS.

I got the yellow lantana from Ora and I am really disappointed. It is brown lantana and looks nothing like the picture.

Even with pictures, this is a tough one. It is tough to find a true yellow acro that will hold.

Karle's candlelight or pink lemonade. Lemonade has lots of yellow in it.

You need lower kelvin setups to get the yellow. 14k+ lighting will not work. Need close to 10-12k to get the yellow.

Yellow Porites generally holds it's color well.

Thanks for referencing one of my corals bskiba! :dance: Here are some updated pics of the coral. Providing an actinic and daylight shot. The tips are turning a deeper yellow coloration and I am getting blue polyps towards the tips of the coralites. Its hard to capture without a macro lense.

Thanks for referencing one of my corals bskiba! :dance: Here are some updated pics of the coral. Providing an actinic and daylight shot. The tips are turning a deeper yellow coloration and I am getting blue polyps towards the tips of the coralites. Its hard to capture without a macro lense.

Hey Trinity,

I believe that was under my old bulb combo. The spectrum was pretty blue, but I was able to use a grey card for a custom white balance. The white balance takes all of the extra blue out of the pic. I'll have to check my photobucket to see if I have an actinic pic I can post.
