Wow! Not a cheap fish! I didn't realize how expensive they are! Very beautiful fish though, where do they originate from?

are convicts difficult fish? i've never kept one before.

my polyzona ate pellets and nori right away. this species also seems to be very disease resistant as compared to other acanthurus.

I was at shedd aquarium today and saw convict tangs with some other full grown chromis, etc. How big do you convicts get in aquaria?

almost none.

but then again it is the only tang/big fish that lives in my tank. it ignores all my other tiny reef fish. so not a good question for me to answer.

Well I'm ok with that. I've heard peoples PBT going after wrasse and my 24 hours with one it tried to kill my YT damsel. I would think this fish is pretty mellow.... because I want it bad. I think I can make it work.

Considering where they come from, highly unlikely that happens.
