130 X 36 x 36 inbound...any suggestions?

With all the bad weather, I have my fingers crossed she won't be delayed too much. She'll be in good hands when she finally arrives.

There is still hope, if the box is insulated well... glass half full, buddy :)

trying to be as optimistic as possible but the last fed ex person I spoke with said might be tomorrow...it really all depends now on how they treat the box...they have been great on the phone but will they put the box in a heated area, who knows...will keep you udated....

Good luck Ted, I had to cancel a coral package yesterday cause I didn't trust it would make it to me. I decided to push it back till after the new year, shipping is crazy this time of year. Hope your baby makes it there safely.

Sorry about the delay Ted. As if us reefers don't have enough things to worry about. Hopefully everything will work out. Those Clarions are tough little fish!

I just had the same problem with my meredethi Ted. I got him approx. 48 hours after he was put in the box. To make things worse the box was leaking I was like there's no chance that fish is alive.

He was alive but miserable. I drip acclimated in a dark room. He is a happy fish and eats with gusto currently. A clarion is much tougher than a meredethi so I'm told. I'm hoping everything goes well for you. What are your plans? Very slow drip acclimation?

hey, sorry...the fish was doa..got here Monday am...then the 2nd storm hit- power was spotty for the two days....

a huge bummer to lose her and the worst part was knowing a tiny, helpless fish was somewhere slowly dying...

I will post a pic of her later- I believe she was probably the smallest Clarion in recent memory..just a tiny, tiny fish...

I am hopefully getting another of the same size, in a few months...

Want to thank the great people at Cortez Tropical Marine for this great fish and for being so cool and attentive during this nightmare...they are really wonderful people...so, please be sure to have your lfs get livestock from them...

I am not happy about the rare fish collection (peppermint, interrupta, baby clarion) that I have in my freezer but it is all part of this obsession...things could always be worse- I just heard from a good friend, who is active in here, and his tank cracked...luckily he was able to save most of his livestock but there are huge risks associated with what we love to do...

I will post a pic of the baby clarion next to a quarter later..

Thanks again to Cortez Tropical Marine for being so helpful and cooperative!!

With no updates I feared the worst, so sorry to hear of the loss.

I hope your luck turns around soon, seems like you've had some tough breaks lately.
