130 X 36 x 36 inbound...any suggestions?

I think about it occasionally, since they are such a cool fish imo. But the adults are kinda meh, and they get large. I probably don't have much room in my tank in the long run with 2 adult emperors, two nasos, a Moorish Idol, 5 grammas, a blue devil and a powder blue, especially not for a large fish like a bat. I may add a majestic angel at some point, but that will probably be the last fish until something changes.

Ken,

Can you toss up a pic? Would love to see a recent shot don't remember some of those...
Those bats do get big and lose some looks as they age...a navarchus would be great if you have the room, love them...

getting ready for another wc...
some pics during a feeding...love Mysis and spir brine...btw, Chefzilla's Chowdown, if you can find it, is killer...

waiting for cleaner shrimp...

the orig male ch...

the baby navarchus from 2-3 summers ago...had to remove her on 13 separate occasions to remove various lymph sites...she is only now getting over her total hate for me...love how you can see the faint reminders of her baby stripes under her adult coloration...love this little fish..

Cocos Island Lemon Peel...
a rare lil lemon peel...

thanks for enhancing my thread....
do the emps show any courting?

appreciate the pics, they are even more beautiful than the last...
a favorite tank of mine and I am in awe of the emp pair...just wonderful..
continued success...

The emps have not shown any courting behavior as far as I can tell. Although I am not quite sure what it would look like. The larger one seems to tolerate the smaller one a lot better now - the smaller used to spend most of its time in the rockwork. The larger one grunts at all the other fish quite a bit, it is pretty much a grouch.

I love all the pics from your tank, and all the rare fish that you have. Nice to see them even if just in pictures!

Thanks Ken...

It would be great to get your Emp pair into one of Wen's tanks..
Better yet, let's get you a 15,000 gallon tank...

the current top secret fish...
bidding is underway... dark face passer, never saw one like this...reminds me of a koi queen from st pauls..

if you are seriously interested let me know...

Holy moly that's a special Passer angel!
TK - Perhaps I missed it when you acquired them, but does the Cocos Lemonpeel lack the blue around the eye? Almost looking like a C. heraldi?
What do you think of the dwarf formerly known as "Woodhead", now known to be a Heralds variant with black on the rear dorsal and anal fins? Saw some recently available.

Love that feeding photo!
I'd love to see some pics without the flash on, and just the LEDs or just a ton of ambient light. I'm willing to bet the fish look even better with the blues and UVs, plus all those other colored, high-powered diodes!

Special passer, but way too big...not coming here...
The cocos lemons have blue eyes, not the pupil and blue gill spines. Tend to be bit small than traditional...
Yeah, I need to ditch the flash! lol...
