Thanks! Yeah, the Gramma is making the cut. I am really focusing on the bigger fish that may bother the Gp. I want them to be as stress-free as possible.
 
Wow Ted, your GP's look great! Look at all that yellow!!! Mine haven't even started to show any yellow yet. I'm jealous!

How large would you estimate the largest to be? Mine has to be pushing 3" now.
 
I really hope we end up with a good supply of captive bred GP someday, I'd really like to have one at some point.

Hey Wayne,

Thanks! The male must be over 4, maybe 4.5? Lol, I need to take a closer look. They are doing very well, knock on wood, and that has me a bit torn. While I want them in the dt, I don't want the possible trauma of a move to upset the balance. Thoughts?

Hey guys. All 3 of mine just got a freshwater bath today. Saw plenty flukes come off. My move going well but the gp's and pepps are with me in new house in temporary tank with divider. All others back to country critters for a bit till systems ready. Happy holidays.

Sorry I missed your calls- was out of town...around this weekend then taking a couple weeks...let's catch-up...
 
I came home to find a radically different looking male gp today. The orange has spread all over his fins, almost looks like a different fish...I can't believe the amount of change in 24 hours- very similar to my ch male story. Wow, I am blown away the amount of orange gained in 24 hours. Not sure I am going to be moving them just now. The pics are not great- will take a video this weekend.






 
So, here are some pics from the last hour. I have not seen them in 48 hours as I had late meetings. I knew I was going to see a difference and was not surprised. The difference in 48 hours is astonishing!
The change does not always happen this quick but when it does, it is mind boggling....

Male Gp at 4.5 inches...lol, I have gotten 3 crazy offers for him from overseas...
