she is doing great...changing coloration...
a beautiful and curious fish but no variation or color morph present...

yeah man, there could have been some crazy hybrids!
I spoke with Wen-Ping last night...they are still having a very tough time getting the conspics to live past day 12...they only have three right that have survived past day 12...

the baby clarions have changed very little...they should hit the market next month...
I will post a pic...

ps...they were delivered at 9:54am to my house by ups...I am somewhat relieved as ups typically does not hit me until 4:00pm...glad they were not bouncing around on a hot truck all day...

I also left a note asking him to leave the boxes inside the front door which he did...great job ups!
but I will still miss the fed ex option to pick-up as they are located directly across the street from work...

Great news about the new species, hopefully more coloration shows soon. This is so interesting to hear about. I remember way back about a year ago I saw a picture of one of their ponds and it also had some Golden Butterflies in it. Would be amazing if they could successfully breed them

I hope its a surprise Hybrid! With all this spawning going on there has to be the unintentional mixing of Gametes!
