spoke with somebody in here this am, in a different country, who got the same update about our special fish...I took this as good news!
we should hopefully have them in a few weeks...
but we shall see..I am not holding my breath...

I love you Bandit pair, they look amazing. These guys do pair up very easily. When I got mine they were tiny, but even at that size (under 2" when they are solitary) they paired up within a month. A little over five years later they are always side by side.

I have seen them try to spawn but fear that my display too short for them to ascend to release height. They sure do try occasionally, but they hit the water's surface and stop .

Things are going very well! I am very happy with our first month in business .

I got the mate for my venustus...but I heard about this other fish that I didn't really think could found...
but here he is ruler and all...
4.25-4.50 inches...

When I finally do make an upgrade (hoping sooner then later) can I add in another bandit for them to pair off or do I need to get both at the same time. If I need them together then I will cancel my order and wait it out but if I can pair them later, I really want a bandit in my tank

I added mine sep, about 6 weeks apart, each was just under 3 inches...tiny bit of friction initially but now they love each other...
I know of a 5.5 if you want...
