We had a home in walnut creek, large home, wood floors, all the homes built had double Freezer and refrigerators, all the homes foundations sunk and collapsed under the added weight where the appliances were.... It cost us 200k to re-pier the home due to poor planing on the contractors part... please understand I am a engineer, and although I want to help in anyway possible and not be a naysayer, I want you to understand the full extent of the fill weight that you are attempting to set up and the problems you will have long term.

you guys moved???

man i really liked that house that you guys lived in

Crazzyreefer.. Are you also saying tank can be move with 2-4 ppl with right equipment. Would actually be easier to damage tank if have too many people?

I had 4 people that help me move the 300...we almost dropped it. I pulled my back bad that day T_T and my friends almost lost their feet.

Yea I'm in Benicia near the water, I will be moving to the sail boat once its renovated and moving aboard it, we will be renting out the house and living on the boat until we shove off and then we plan on going around the world.

Two of these will be well worth its weight in gold, I have one and that what I use, but since your tank is 10' you will need two of them and strap them together. You can rent these for 100.00 each per day but it might be better to buy them. They make moving large items a breeze.

I think ill just rent them at 100 each per day. It cost 2000 and I need 2 that's 4000 bucks

Yes that is the easiest way, once strapped down they move as a unit and there is no lifting. You will need to strap them to the lift and then to each other. You can rent the straps, you will also need 2 dollys when you have to turn a corner and entering and exiting the truck, rent the straps also and a few moving blankets. You can also rent one that is motorized, but that adds weight and is only beneficial if you are trying to push it up hill, tell me you don't have a hill or a steep driveway.... Its easier than you think. This will be the easy part......

Nope no hill just a standard driveway to get into garage and at pickup location it's just like a hallway to roll it thru the double door but don't think can roll out as one unit it's too tall think overall height is 10' also how do you like your Mitras LED I was thinking of getting the orphek LED cannon but others say don't while Titan aquarium use those for big tank build

Wanna trade?? Ill give u big tank as your sump the 72 x 36 x 36 u help me move tank to my place :)

With or without the sump, I will help, I will be tied up for Wednesday and possibly Thursday, but can do it on Friday.

As for the plumbing I found it a waste of time to try to keep it, unless they unioned everything together,

Also why is the tank coming down, this will give you a clue of what needs to dome better or different.

in one piece its a bit easier, but with the two lifts it will still be a breeze. have one extra person to help load the smaller pieces in the truck,

Equipment rental companies also rent lowering trailers, but unsure if they are long enough. Did you find a place to rent the lifts?
