We all need to give Paul a hand on all the little details to make it flawless! Alot of comments on the digram and it was helpful for the guests! Great job Paul!

Great show everyone! Amazing turnout for the event and there were some seriously awesome corals on display. As a vendor I feel like I need to step up my game for next time :)

Hi All,

Great show, nice facility, lots of super corals. Stan D. & I actually swapped corals at the frag swap, imagine that. You folks from Lear really know how to put on a show.

You guys put on a great swap. I picke up a lot of nice stuff, and also added 2 people to my avoid list for any future swaps. Bleached out palys, and a half dead monti frag that was defintiely not the match to the picture . You know who you are. But other than that it was well worth the drive, and will definitely make the next swap.

on a side note, besides trust, how can you be sure you are getting the right z&p's from a hobbyist when they are already bagged and closed. i worried about that with alot of my pre sale requests.

That is a good point. you really don't know. I guess just don't buy the more expensive type from people who don't have a tank. I would rather see more expensive ones before I buy definitely.

over the years I'v found more people will throw in an extra frag or a better than avertised frag then those few (verry few) that give you less than they described.

The best thing to do is contact the people you got the corals from and see if you can working something out with them. Most people out there are not trying to screw you since it builds a bad name for them. Most people I deal with will either get you a new piece if possible or work with you on the price. Just remember there is no guarantee in this hobby and with this time of year transport is hell on corals if not properly care for on the trip. Not saying you did anything wrong just saying. I would fallow up with who you got them from and see if you can work something out.

It is all on building a relationship with the people you buy from and I have had a frag or two not make it! I contacted them and they replaced the coral. Sorry to hear you had some frags not make it! Chef!
Dave thank you for supporting the swap and Stan as well! It was great to see you guys attend and see that LEAR is trying to raise the bar for all of the fellow reefers! I want to thank all for the great support!

good idea. I bought almost 40 frags, an 11" vlamingi tang, a huge skimmer from chuggy and some other odds and ends and everything was great and so were the sellers. almost everybody went above what i expected. I will try to contact them just to let them know. Looking forward to the next swap

Thanks again everyone for All the positive encouragement! We've got our work cut out for us to top this swap next year but I'm confident with the group of guys that it will be even better!
I'd like to thank all the vendors, early bird's and swappers for attending. Special thanks goes out to Kevin Kohen of live aquaria for all the gift bags and amazing corals he sent! Tony Nista of united pet group also for all the support he's given the club from massive raffle donations to great ideas that helped make this event what it was. This swap would not of been the event it was without the hours Paul Grant put into it as well, layout, website, phone calls and emails he made help make this event run smooth!!!

Thanks again for all the donations we received, remember support the guys that helped make this event possible and it will make next years event even better!
Erik
