240G All T5 SPS build

Beautiful tank man. AGE built the tank for you? I would love the same tank as you except it be 60"x24"x24" ~ 150 gallons. Subscribed and job well done:) I want to see some more FTS and side shots:) and also sump shots:)

Yeah , the do nice work. I will get around to it maybe this weekend... Been cleaning up a tons of odds and ends with the setup. Trying to get everything dialed in so i'm not constantly fussing with it .

Nice tank! Great pictures of your anthias!

Thanks , because of the anthias ... I actually switched out my skimmer >.< ... But i haven't really seen a performance increase .. We will see i swapped out my Alpha 250 cone for a SM300. Amount of skim and foam is about the same. I think it's largely impacted by the amount of ozone i'm running tho , using a ozotech 230mg/hr ( have it set at 80%) ... redox is 405 steady.

what did you do with the Alpha skimmer?????/ hmmmmmm......? lol
This sounds terrible but ... I'm running both an alpha 250 and a alpha300 on my frag tank/deep water tank ( two tanks same system ) ..Was going to use my MRC but this saves me a little power.

Wow, very nice tank. I love the rock work and the amount of busy fish. With all those anthias whats your normal feeding schedule? Do you plan to add more fish?

Was just wondering how the Leopard wrasses have been in your tank. Was wanting to get some myself and have herd that they do not ship well or have complications. Thanks in advance ...Gary

We feed about 8-12 cubes of food a day lol ... Usually thoughout the day, we premelt the food, rinse ect and dump food in as we remember. I feed before i go to work in the morning just to make sure my flavoguttas get some food in them .

Yeah there not easy fish to keep. We got ours very small and QT'ed them in a cycled running system. We originally got them around 1 inch and 4 of them. So far 3 have made it and there very fat and happy. There currently over 3 inches now. Unfortunately , we tried the same approach with Potters wrasses, ( another type of leopard ) These are only found in hawaii, with 4 of them and did not have the same luck and lost all 4 ..

We plan to try again on both the potters wrasses and tinkeri's for the display. Those are considered the final fish we will be adding ( there's always room for one more lol )

But right now i'm just focusing on looking for deep water sps corals. Going to line the bottom of the tank with enchinata's, lokani's, turaki's ect .. Trying to get a unique look and personally i'm more drawn to deep water corals .

Unfortunately, when my tank crashed awhile back those were the first corals i lost =(

Okay so took a full tank shot after the lights shut off so i could get a shot without the fish messing up the picture lol
