240G All T5 SPS build

So am crazy for thinking of putting this in one of my tanks ?
IMHO... yes!

You never know man, just never know. For me it's not worth the risk of him getting sucked ito something and causing devastation, or as you mentioned eating what it shouldn't.

... been there, done that ;)

It's 4x4 inches ... nice blue haddoni ..
It would suck for this to eat one of my hawainesse anthias or one of my wrasses >.<

Beautiful!! I had one in my old 55 gal and lost a purple tang to it. Could not figure out what happened to the purple until a week later when I saw bones beneath the carpet.

I would deem it relatively safe to put in a tank of your size but maybe place it in an area that is open. Any place where fish might be forced between a rock/glass and the anemone in order to get by is asking for disaster.

Tough call!

yeah it's rough deciding. I had a chance at one this size and couldn't pass it over. Since it's almost impossible to find a red/blue carpet that is 4 inches in size. If i do decide to not keep it, i'm sure i won't have a difficult time unloading it lol .

Well i could either put it in my display or my deep water species tank. Both have mandarins, which i think would possibly fall prey to it. It would make a good host for my latz , but i'm not sure if it's worth the risk of losing an unreplaceable fish . Rarity versus practicality unfortunately sigh.

Probably sounds like you would be living in fear if you added it. Reefing is already stressful as it is LOL.

Yeah i would.... I can see people screaming at me for putting a carpet nem with hawaiian longfin anthias lol ... almost sacrilegious ...

Putting it in my display wouldn't be all that bad, I would need to rehome my clowns tho, possible losses would be the mandarin's which unfortunately is my wifes babies .... such stress over a couple fish tanks and guppies lol

For those sump pictures.. ( someday i will clean this up lol )
Yeah this is less than to be desired, i adjusted the build some and never cleaned up the wiring mess ..

hey man love the tank looks great, what are u sing for a cover tp keep the wrasses in places. if u dot mind me asking

Thanks guys for all the praise. It's nice to see the tank coming together with all the issues i had with this setup in the beginning. I was shocked last night when i tested phosphate with my hanna only coming back .04. Considering the insane amount of fish , does that mean i have room for more lol ?
Will have pictures later this weekend with my new additional from QT =)

Okay small update here's video of the tank
